Mobile Automatic Drum mix Asphalt Plant
Cold Aggregate Feeder
It consists of Four independent open type bins (total cap. 40
tons) fabricated from mm thick M.S. Plates and mounted on a rigid
frame. Each bin consist of an independint and synchronized 2 H.P.
Variable speed D.C. Motors for feeding the aggregate at a uniform and
predetermined rate through a precisely adjustable bin quardent gate.
Each bin deposits aggregate on the gathering belt which is driven by 5
H.P. A.C. Motor. A continuous type Electronic Belt Weigher (Load Cell)
is mounted under the gathering conveyor for weighing the aggregate
which is to be discharged on the Slinger Conveyor. It indicates the
aggregate 'Fed' in Tons/hr with comulative read out and totaliser in
control panel. Two vibrators with mounted on the bins to streamline the
flow of Dust/Moram which sometimes gets struck into bins. The vibrator
is oprated by the means of potentiometer from the control panel itself.
Slinger Conveyor
Slinger Conveyor is provided for transferring the aggregate
received from the gatheing belt to pugmill. It is driven by 5 H.P. A.C.
Motor coupled with helical gear box.
Pugmill Mixer
Pugmill of 3.00 meter
length is provided for mixing of Aggreate / Dus / Moram and water. it
is fabricated form M.S. Plates mounted on a separate robust steel
structure. Two 100 mm Dia. Sq. shaft is provided with specially designe
dna dmanganese steel casted (special rade) Peddle arms and Tips with
cast iron spacers. The sq. shaft is provided with double rollers
spherical bearings. The A/C Motors of 20 HP Coupled with suitable
Elecon make warm Reduction gear box and specially designed spur gears
and pinions. The water-sprinkling Pipe is used for shaft mounting
Hydraulic Storage Hooper is provided with ydraulic Cylindera nd hinged
doors for provided to minimize ot segregation Hydraulic Power Pack is
provided for operating storage hooper with those piep connection, which
is mounted separately.
Water Tank
Water tank of 10000 litters capacity is provided and is amde
from M.S. Plates Motorised (pump) valve is provided for water
circulation.

Electronic Controls are provided for % setting of Aggregate / Dust /
Water Supply and % setting of total plant / speed. The Electronic
control controls is provided to maintain synchronization of water with
aggregate that means the % of water should remain constant in the mixed
material and at the same time water flow must be controlled. Once the %
of wate ris set the flow, should hcange in such a fashion that final
mixed material will have constants water %.
